The earliest pickup time is 2:30 AM, which allows you to reach the Taj Mahal for sunrise. Otherwise you may choose any pickup time from 3:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Your professional driver collects you in a private air-conditioned car for the drive to Agra.

Travel to Agra via the Yamuna Expressway — a comfortable drive of around 3.5 hours in a private air-conditioned car.
Visit the Taj Mahal
Begin in Agra with the Taj Mahal, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1632 in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The white marble — inlaid with semi-precious stones — is one of the most breathtaking sights in the world. Your guide shares its history and helps you photograph it from every angle.
A note on Friday visits
The Taj Mahal interior is closed every Friday for prayer. If Day 1 of your tour falls on a Friday — a Friday start — the itinerary is reversed: Jaipur is visited on Day 1 and Agra on Day 2. Your itinerary is re-sequenced accordingly.
Visit Agra Fort — UNESCO World Heritage Site
Explore the majestic Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by Emperor Akbar in 1573. Walk through its grand courtyards, palaces, and halls, and enjoy a view of the Taj Mahal from its ramparts.
Visit Baby Taj — Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah
Visit the exquisite Baby Taj, commissioned by Noor Jahan for her father Ghiyas Beg. Its delicate marble inlay work and Persian gardens are considered a jewel of Mughal architecture.

Fatehpur Sikri (Optional Visit)
Fatehpur Sikri is a beautiful UNESCO-listed Mughal city between Agra and Jaipur. It is offered as an optional add-on rather than a standard inclusion because the site requires a separate entry ticket, a shared shuttle bus from the parking lot, and a local government-approved guide — all of which add cost. It sits conveniently on the route to Jaipur; please request it at the time of booking. Fatehpur Sikri sits on the way, so adding it extends the day by around 1 hour — the visit itself is roughly 45 minutes.

About Jaigarh Fort and Amber Fort
We take you to Jaigarh Fort, not Amber Fort. The reason is simple: Amber Fort is known for the elephant rides up the hill, and many travelers would rather not do them. Jaigarh Fort sits on the same hill and is just as grand. If you would prefer Amber Fort instead of Jaigarh, we are happy to swap it in for a little extra cost, and your car can drive right up to the top of Amber Fort, so there is no need to take an elephant ride. If you would like to see both forts, that can also be arranged for a little extra cost. Just let us know after you book and we will make the arrangements.
Hawa Mahal — Palace of Winds (Photo Stop)
Pause for photographs at the Hawa Mahal, the five-story “Palace of Winds” with its honeycomb façade of 953 small windows, built so royal women could watch the street below unseen.

- At the end of the tour you may finish in Jaipur or continue to Delhi — please tell us your preference at the time of booking so the day can be planned around it.
- The Taj Mahal interior is closed every Friday for prayer. If Day 1 falls on a Friday (a Friday start), the itinerary is reversed — Jaipur is visited on Day 1 and Agra on Day 2.
- This is a fast-paced two-day version of the Golden Triangle and involves long drives; an early start is needed on both days. For a more relaxed pace, the 3-, 4-, and 5-day Golden Triangle tours allow more time.
- The Jal Mahal is viewed from the lakeside — entry to the palace itself is not permitted.
- No “skip-the-line” system exists at the Taj Mahal. If any website claims otherwise, that information is incorrect.
- Hotel check-in and check-out times are set by the hotel; your guide will plan the itinerary around them.
- Videography cameras are not permitted inside the Taj Mahal. Mobile phones and a standard DSLR camera without additional lenses are permitted. Large bags and food items are not allowed inside.
- Comfortable clothing and footwear are recommended.
- Please carry a valid photo ID — it is required at hotel check-in and may be required at the monuments. A clear photograph of the ID on your mobile phone is also acceptable.
