About this tour
This three-day private tour is the classic Golden Triangle — Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur — at a comfortable, well-paced rhythm, and our most popular itinerary. Day 1 works its way through the capital, from the Qutub Minar and Humayun's Tomb to the ceremonial avenues of New Delhi, the lanes of the old city, and Akshardham Temple, before the evening drive to Agra. Day 2 begins with the Taj Mahal at sunrise, followed by Agra Fort and the Baby Taj, then the drive on to Jaipur.

Day 3 is spent in the Pink City of Jaipur — its hilltop forts, the Palace of Winds, the City Palace, and the Jantar Mantar observatory — after which you choose whether to finish in Jaipur or return to Delhi the same evening. Pick up from anywhere in Delhi NCR
Your day starts wherever you are staying — any hotel, residence, or airport across Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Gurgaon (Gurugram), Ghaziabad, or Faridabad, including Delhi (IGI) Airport, Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad, or Noida International Airport in Jewar.
Pickup can be arranged at any time between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Your professional driver arrives at the agreed hour in a private air-conditioned car and sets off towards the first monument, where your private guide joins you and stays with you through the day's sightseeing.
Qutub Minar — UNESCO World Heritage Site
Open the Golden Triangle at the Qutub Minar, the world's tallest brick minaret at 73 meters and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your guide walks you through the surrounding complex — the fluted red sandstone tower, the early mosque, the ruins around it, and the celebrated Iron Pillar that has resisted rust for centuries.
Humayun's Tomb — The Garden Tomb
Continue to Humayun's Tomb, another UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the finest Mughal monuments in the capital. Set within symmetrical charbagh gardens, its red sandstone and white marble mausoleum established the design language that would later reach its peak at the Taj Mahal — a fitting prelude to Day 2.
India Gate — Drive Past
Drive past India Gate, the 42-meter memorial arch raised in memory of the Indian soldiers who fell in the First World War. You view it from your private car as your guide explains its place in the life of the capital.
President's House — Drive Past
Pass the President's House, officially Rashtrapati Bhavan, standing at the head of Raisina Hill as the official residence of the President of India. A brief photo stop may be possible, depending on traffic and the security arrangements of the day.
Parliament House — Drive Past
Carry on past Parliament House, seat of India's national legislature and one of the defining buildings of the central administrative district. Here too a short photo stop may be possible, subject to security and traffic conditions.
Meal Break
Break for lunch in Connaught Place. Your guide will point you to a well-tried local multi-cuisine restaurant used by our guests, though you are free to choose another nearby place instead. Lunch is not part of the standard tour price and can be added as an optional add-on.
Red Fort — Viewed from Outside
Cross into Old Delhi for the Red Fort, the vast Mughal citadel raised by Emperor Shah Jahan and for two centuries the seat of imperial power. The tour pauses beside its red sandstone ramparts and the Lahori Gate while your guide recounts its history. This monument is seen from outside, so no entrance ticket is needed.
Jama Masjid — India's Largest Mosque
Step into Jama Masjid, among the largest mosques in India and the great landmark of the old city. Its immense courtyard, red sandstone and marble façade, and towering minarets speak to the ambitions of Mughal Delhi. The mosque may close to visitors during prayer times, and modest dress is expected.
Chandni Chowk — Rickshaw Ride
Trade the car for a cycle rickshaw and thread through Chandni Chowk, one of the oldest and liveliest markets in Delhi. Narrow lanes, generations-old shopfronts, sweet stalls, and constant movement make this the most vivid half-hour of the day. The rickshaw ride is included in your tour price.
Khari Baoli — Asia's Largest Spice Market
The ride carries on to Khari Baoli, reputed to be the largest wholesale spice market in Asia. Sacks of chillies, cardamom, dried fruits, nuts, and herbs line lanes that have traded in the same goods for centuries. Entry is free, and your guide explains how the market still supplies kitchens across northern India.
Akshardham Temple — The Final Delhi Stop
Close the Delhi day at Akshardham Temple, a monumental complex of carved sandstone and marble set among formal gardens on the banks of the Yamuna. Its position on the eastern edge of the city puts you on the Expressway soon after, which is why it is kept for last. Akshardham is closed on Mondays; on that day you may visit either Gurudwara Bangla Sahib or Agrasen ki Baoli instead.
Drive to Agra
With the sightseeing complete, join the Yamuna Expressway for the run down to Agra — roughly 3.5 hours in your private air-conditioned car, with a short comfort break on the way if you would like one.

Visit the Taj Mahal
Begin early with a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1632 in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. A note on Friday visits:
The Taj Mahal interior is closed every Friday for prayer. If Day 2 of your tour falls on a Friday — for example, a Thursday start — the Taj Mahal is visited on Day 1 on arrival in Agra instead of Day 2 at sunrise, and Day 2 covers Agra Fort and the Baby Taj. Your itinerary is re-sequenced accordingly.

Visit Agra Fort — UNESCO World Heritage Site

Visit Baby Taj — Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah

Jaigarh Fort
Visit Jaigarh Fort, the rugged hilltop fortress built by Sawai Jai Singh II, known for its commanding views over the Aravalli hills and Amber below, and for Jaivana — once the largest cannon on wheels in the world.
Amber Fort (Optional Visit)
Amber Fort is traditionally associated with elephant rides, which raise animal welfare concerns. We include nearby Jaigarh Fort instead — a beautiful hilltop fort with panoramic views and fewer crowds. If you would prefer Amber Fort, we are happy to swap. Elephant rides can be arranged on-site separately but are not part of our standard itineraries.
Hawa Mahal — Palace of Winds (Photo Stop)
Pause for photographs at the Hawa Mahal, the five-story “Palace of Winds” with its honeycomb façade of 953 small windows, built so royal women could watch the street below unseen.

City Palace Museum

- At the end of the tour you may finish in Jaipur or continue to Delhi — please tell us your preference at the time of booking so the final day can be planned around it.
- The Taj Mahal interior is closed every Friday for prayer. If Day 2 falls on a Friday (for example, a Thursday start), the Taj Mahal is visited on Day 1 on arrival in Agra, and Day 2 covers Agra Fort and the Baby Taj.
- Akshardham Temple is closed on Mondays. If Day 1 falls on a Monday, you may choose either Gurudwara Bangla Sahib or Agrasen ki Baoli in its place — please tell your guide your preference on the day.
- Akshardham's main temple and gardens are free to enter; separately ticketed exhibitions, boat rides, and water shows are not part of the standard itinerary.
- The Red Fort is viewed from outside only, so no Red Fort entrance ticket is required.
- This is a private tour, and the order of sightseeing may be adjusted for traffic, security restrictions, monument timings, prayer times, or local operating conditions.
- The Jal Mahal is viewed from the lakeside — entry to the palace itself is not permitted.
- No “skip-the-line” system exists at the Taj Mahal. If any website claims otherwise, that information is incorrect.
- Hotel check-in and check-out times are set by the hotels; your guide will plan the itinerary around them.
- Videography cameras are not permitted inside the Taj Mahal. Mobile phones and a standard DSLR camera without additional lenses are permitted. Large bags and food items are not allowed inside.
- A modest dress code applies at Jama Masjid and Akshardham Temple; if Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is chosen on a Monday, heads should be covered inside the Gurudwara.
- Comfortable clothing and footwear are recommended.
