This five-day private tour pairs the classic Golden Triangle with an unhurried two-night stay in Ranthambore National Park. Day 1 explores Old and New Delhi before an evening drive to Agra. Day 2 begins with the Taj Mahal at sunrise, followed by Agra Fort and the Baby Taj, then the drive on towards Ranthambore.

We collect you from any hotel, residence, or airport in Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Gurgaon (Gurugram), Ghaziabad, or Faridabad — including Delhi (IGI) Airport, Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad, and Noida International Airport in Jewar. Tell us any pickup time between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM and your professional driver will be there in a private air-conditioned car, ready to head for the first monument. Your private guide meets you close to that first stop and remains with you for the whole day.
Visit Qutub Minar
The first stop is the Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the south of the city and, at 73 meters, the tallest brick minaret anywhere. Beyond the tower itself the complex holds early mosque architecture, carved colonnades, and the famous Iron Pillar, and your guide draws out the story that ties them together.
Visit Humayun’s Tomb
A short drive north brings you to Humayun’s Tomb, also UNESCO-listed. This 16th-century mausoleum sits at the center of formal Persian gardens, and its proportions and materials were the template Mughal builders refined over the following century — most famously at the monument you will see on Day 2.
Drive Past India Gate
Head into the ceremonial center of New Delhi for India Gate, the 42-meter arch commemorating the Indian soldiers lost in the First World War, seen from the comfort of your car.
Drive Past the President’s House
Continue along Raisina Hill past the President’s House — Rashtrapati Bhavan — the official residence of the President of India. Where traffic and security conditions allow, a brief photo stop can be made.
Drive Past Parliament House
Alongside it stands Parliament House, home to India’s national legislature. This is a drive-past stop as well, with a short pause for photographs if conditions permit.
Meal Break
Stop for lunch in Connaught Place. Your guide can recommend a dependable local multi-cuisine restaurant that our guests use regularly, or you may pick another nearby spot yourself. Lunch sits outside the standard tour price and is available as an optional add-on.
Red Fort — Photo Stop from Outside
The afternoon belongs to Old Delhi, starting at the Red Fort, built by Emperor Shah Jahan and the seat of Mughal authority for two hundred years. You stop for photographs along its sandstone walls by the Lahori Gate; the fort is seen from outside, so no entrance ticket applies.
Visit Jama Masjid
Nearby stands Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in the country, with a courtyard that holds thousands and minarets that rise above the rooftops of the old city. Modest dress is required, and the mosque may close briefly to visitors at prayer times.
Chandni Chowk Rickshaw Ride
Swap the car for a cycle rickshaw and ride into Chandni Chowk, the historic bazaar laid out in Mughal times and still one of the busiest streets in Delhi. The ride is part of your tour price.
Khari Baoli Spice Market
The lanes open out at Khari Baoli, the largest wholesale spice market in Asia, where turmeric, chillies, cardamom, nuts, and dried fruit are stacked in the same doorways traders have used for generations. There is no entry charge, and your guide explains how the market works.
Visit Akshardham Temple
The Delhi day finishes at Akshardham Temple, a vast complex of hand-carved sandstone and marble beside the Yamuna, deliberately kept for last because it sits right where the road to Agra begins. Note that Akshardham closes on Mondays — on a Monday departure you may choose Gurudwara Bangla Sahib or Agrasen ki Baoli in its place.
Drive to Agra
In the evening, travel to Agra via the Yamuna Expressway — a comfortable drive of around 3.5 hours in a private air-conditioned car.

Visit the Taj Mahal
Begin early with a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1632 in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. A note on Friday visits:
The Taj Mahal interior is closed every Friday for prayer. If Day 2 of your tour falls on a Friday — for example, a Thursday start — the Taj Mahal is visited on Day 1 on arrival in Agra instead of Day 2 at sunrise, and Day 2 covers Agra Fort and the Baby Taj. Your itinerary is re-sequenced accordingly.

Visit Agra Fort — UNESCO World Heritage Site

It can be added on the early part of the day’s drive; please request it at the time of booking.

Morning Tiger Safari
Set out at dawn for the first safari through Ranthambore National Park — once the hunting reserve of the rulers of Jaipur, now one of India’s best-known tiger reserves. Traveling by shared safari vehicle with a naturalist, look out for tigers, leopards, sloth bears, deer, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife among the park’s lakes, ruins, and dry forest.

Return to your hotel for a relaxed breakfast between the morning and afternoon safaris. Your room is held for a second night, so there is no need to check out.
Afternoon Tiger Safari
Head back into the park in the afternoon for a second safari, often in a different zone, as the light softens and the wildlife becomes active again — a second chance to track the park’s tigers and other animals.

Jaigarh Fort

About Jaigarh Fort and Amber Fort
We take you to Jaigarh Fort, not Amber Fort. The reason is simple: Amber Fort is known for the elephant rides up the hill, and many travelers would rather not do them. Jaigarh Fort sits on the same hill and is just as grand. If you would prefer Amber Fort instead of Jaigarh, we are happy to swap it in for a little extra cost, and your car can drive right up to the top of Amber Fort, so there is no need to take an elephant ride. If you would like to see both forts, that can also be arranged for a little extra cost. Just let us know after you book and we will make the arrangements.
Hawa Mahal — Palace of Winds (Photo Stop)
Pause for photographs at the Hawa Mahal, the five-story “Palace of Winds” with its honeycomb façade of 953 small windows, built so royal women could watch the street below unseen.

City Palace Museum

Important notes for this tour.
- This is a five-day tour with four nights of accommodation — one in Agra, two near Ranthambore, and one in Jaipur. Please select your hotel tier — 3-Star, 4-Star, or 5-Star — at the time of booking.
- Ranthambore National Park’s core safari zones are closed during the monsoon, generally from 1 July to 30 September. This tour is best enjoyed between October and June.
- Ranthambore safari permits are issued by the forest department and are limited in number. The safari zones and vehicles are allocated by the park authorities and cannot be chosen in advance. Wildlife sightings, including tigers, are a matter of chance and cannot be promised.
- The Taj Mahal interior is closed every Friday for prayer. If Day 2 falls on a Friday (for example, a Thursday start), the Taj Mahal is visited on Day 1 on arrival in Agra, and Day 2 covers Agra Fort and the Baby Taj.
- Akshardham Temple is closed on Mondays. If Day 1 falls on a Monday, you may choose either Gurudwara Bangla Sahib or Agrasen ki Baoli in its place — please tell your guide your preference on the day.
- Akshardham’s main temple and gardens are free to enter; separately ticketed exhibitions, boat rides, and water shows are not part of the standard itinerary.
- The Red Fort is viewed from outside only, so no Red Fort entrance ticket is required.
- A modest dress code applies at Jama Masjid and Akshardham Temple; if Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is chosen on a Monday, heads should be covered inside the Gurudwara.
- The Jal Mahal is viewed from the lakeside — entry to the palace itself is not permitted.
- No “skip-the-line” system exists at the Taj Mahal. If any website claims otherwise, that information is incorrect.
- Hotel check-in and check-out times are set by the hotels; your guide will plan the itinerary around them.
- Videography cameras are not permitted inside the Taj Mahal. Mobile phones and a standard DSLR camera without additional lenses are permitted. Large bags and food items are not allowed inside.
- Comfortable clothing and footwear are recommended; mornings in the park can be cold, so a warm layer is advisable for the safaris.
- Please carry a valid photo ID — it is required at hotel check-in and for the Ranthambore safari permits, and may be required at the monuments.
