You are collected at around 5:00 AM from any hotel, residence, or airport in Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Gurgaon (Gurugram), Ghaziabad, or Faridabad — including Delhi (IGI) Airport, Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad, or Noida International Airport in Jewar — and transferred by private air-conditioned car to New Delhi Railway Station in good time for the morning departure. This tour has a single fixed pickup, set by the train schedule.
Morning Express Train to Jaipur
The morning express departs New Delhi at 6:10 AM and reaches Jaipur Junction at 10:45 AM. Seats are reserved in Standard AC class, with breakfast service on board and the Rajasthan countryside opening up through the window. An upgrade to First Class AC is available as an optional add-on.

Begin at Jaigarh Fort, the hilltop fortress overlooking Jaipur, built by Sawai Jai Singh II in 1726. It houses Jaivana, once the world’s largest cannon on wheels, and offers commanding views across the Aravalli hills.

You will notice we visit Jaigarh Fort rather than Amber Fort, and here is why. Amber Fort is famous for the elephant rides up to its gates, and a lot of our travelers would simply rather skip them. Jaigarh stands on the very same ridge and is every bit as grand. Would you prefer Amber Fort? We are happy to swap it in for a little extra cost, and your car can drive right up to the top of Amber Fort, so there is no elephant ride needed. Want to see both forts? Hawa Mahal — Palace of Winds
Stop at the Hawa Mahal, the iconic five-story “Palace of Winds” with its honeycomb facade of 953 small windows. Built in 1799, it allowed royal women to observe street life unseen. A favorite spot for photographs.

Visit City Palace — Royal Heritage Complex
Explore the City Palace, a sprawling complex of courtyards, gardens, and buildings begun by Sawai Jai Singh II. Still partly home to the royal family, it blends Rajput and Mughal architecture and houses a fascinating museum.
Jal Mahal — Lakefront Viewpoint
Stop at the Jal Mahal, the “Water Palace” that appears to float on Man Sagar Lake. The lower floors sit below the waterline; the view from the lakeshore is one of Jaipur’s most photographed sights.
Visit Jantar Mantar — UNESCO World Heritage Site
Conclude the sightseeing at Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest of the stone astronomical observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh II. It includes the world’s largest stone sundial.

Important notes for this tour.
- Travel between Delhi and Jaipur is by express train in both directions. Private air-conditioned transfers are provided at either end, and a private car is at your disposal for the sightseeing in Jaipur.
- Train tickets are booked in Standard AC class and are subject to availability. An upgrade to First Class AC is available as an optional add-on.
- Train timings are fixed. Pickup is at 5:00 AM so that you reach New Delhi Railway Station well before the 6:10 AM departure — please be ready at the agreed time.
- Because the return train leaves Jaipur Junction at 5:35 PM, the sightseeing runs from around 11:00 AM to 4:45 PM. The itinerary is paced to fit that window comfortably.
- Please travel light — your luggage stays with you on the train. During the day in Jaipur, bags may be left in the sightseeing car.
- All Jaipur monuments are open seven days a week; there is no weekly closure day.
- No “skip-the-line” system exists at the monuments. If any website claims otherwise, that information is incorrect.
- Photography is permitted at most monuments; some interiors have restrictions or a small camera fee.
- Comfortable clothing and footwear are recommended — the tour involves a fair amount of walking and some climbs.
- Please carry a valid photo ID — it is required for train travel and may also be required at the monuments. A clear photograph of the ID on your mobile phone is also acceptable.

We take you to Jaigarh Fort instead. Amber Fort is known for the elephant rides up the hill, and many travelers prefer not to do them, so we feature Jaigarh Fort, which sits on the same hill. If you would rather visit Amber Fort, we are happy to swap it in for a little extra cost, and your car can drive right up to the top, so no elephant ride is needed. To see both forts, a little extra cost applies. Just tell us after booking.

The morning express departs New Delhi at 6:10 AM and reaches Jaipur Junction at 10:45 AM. The evening express departs Jaipur Junction at 5:35 PM and arrives at New Delhi at 10:30 PM — a little under five hours in each direction.
